Never is there enough time, enough room when there is the stolen moment to sit down and record a thought. More rant-worthy subjects and painful realizations than one could attempt to do justice even in observation.

Is a person expected to narrow it down? Choose a platform upon which to chase down every lie, misunderstanding, and abuse of such things and right each wrong until their last breath? Such overarching themes and looming prejudices no longer seem to have an end in my eye… it only takes a few words and there returns that stinging tinge in my heart right where it’s been hiding.

More than fighting any fight, I simply long for the hatred to disappear. I hardly want to talk about it and I see no room for debate. I see no joy in any “thing”, but see the damage and despair so easily caused by a “being”. I’m not the only one who feels like a “thing” by the way I’m treated by “beings”. I desire a love that laughs at opposition and takes others in arms until the only thing remembered is that everybeing truly is beautiful.

I don’t want to convince you. I don’t need to. I love you as you are. And it’s painful. Because I, too, have a long, long way to go.

Truly… one of the most exciting times in my life… on any given day I get to give a speech, demonstrate the violin, make music with people I love, speak and learn German in a room full of laughing peers, discuss theory and technique with other prospective teachers and professors, schedule an appointment to finalize my choice of wedding dress, meet with a wedding planner about my reception location and get quotes from 50 different services, drink hot chocolate or roast marshmallows fireside by even more people I love, work at a shop alongside the most fantastic of coworkers and friends, plan and coordinate events for this amazing shop, read The Odyssey (entirely) by the end of the week….

Go home. Schnoog.

I have never been happier! I’m so thankful for all of you peeps who share laughter and tears with me… your support means more to me than you will ever know. I LOVE YOU!

i love you… because of the looks you give me during an evening spent in an unknown abyss of people… because we have a little too much bourbon together on this silly, rare and random evening… because I look over and you’re totally at home, enjoying yourself in the most strange of places, here we are on a roof with someone’s dog after ducking down a string-lit alley… and we drive home, windows down, both singing “army of me” (bjork) and kidA (radiohead) over the radio… and as i type, you’re cooking me junk food in our kitchen.

i’ll never be alone. even if that was true before you, it was never as good as it will now always be.
